ATHENS-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a traffic accident that took the life of an Athens man on Thursday, July 26:
“A single-vehicle crash at 7:50 p.m. Thursday, July 26, has claimed the life of an Athens man.
Stanley Ross Morris, 34, was killed when the 1995 Dodge Ram pickup he was driving left the roadway on Elkton Road and overturned. Morris, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred three miles north of Athens.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
