This groundbreaking marks the beginning of an exciting downtown revitalization project made
possible by a $1 million Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant. The project will
reimagine part of downtown Leighton to help drive economic activity and tourism.
Once complete, the town will have a new multiuse path that is part of the larger Singing River
