Simon Junior Brooks, age 68, of Haleyville passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012. There will be a graveside service Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Hill Cemetery with Glen Bridgmon officiating. Mr. Brooks is survived by his sons, Todd Brooks, Tommy Brooks, and Tim Brooks; sisters, Evelyn Smith and Nell Case; grandchildren, Jordan Brooks, Jamen Brooks, and Reagan Brooks. He is preceded in death by his parents, Simon Pendleton Brooks and Ida Pearl Baker Brooks; brothers, Quinton and Hubert; sisters, Otella, Exie, Vernie Ruth and Fayrene.
