Simon Alexander Cummins, of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, January 11th, 2024 at Southern Tennessee Regional Pulaski. Simon was born on December 22nd, 1956, in Wood River, Illinois and was 67 years old.
Simon was in the trucking industry and he loved to travel. His loved fast cars, off-road mudding, and fishing. One of his favorite quotes was to tell people “I’m just Simon” when telling them his name.
A private family service will be held.
Simon was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Hale and Velma Dorothy Newberry Cummins. Brothers, Edward Hale Cummins, Jr. and William Matthew Cummins. His niece Mickey Cummins Harp.
He is survived by,
Daughter, Julie (Steven) Lamb of Dawson Springs, Kentucky.
Daughter, Dorthey (Joe) Groves of Greenville, Mississippi.
Son, Tyler Cummins of Marion, Kentucky.
Grandchildren, Stephanie (Zach) Hatcher, Miranda Groves, Joseph Groves, and Billy Groves.
Great-Grandchildren, Peyton and Allison Hatcher.
Best friends, Patricia Emerson, of Pulaski, Tennessee and Bradley, Bella, and Grayson of Mississippi.
Brother, Joe (Jill) Cummins of Florida.
Brother, Jonathan (Sookie) Cummins of Eutaw, Alabama.
Sister, Rosemary (James) Sheets of Eddyville, Kentucky.
Sister, Kathy (Junior) Crick of St. Charles, Kentucky.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
