MADISON COUNTY-Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call at a home on Brier Ridge Court where several people were suffering from gunshot wounds.
Around 12:15 am on Tuesday morning, September 22 a child made a call to 911. After officers arrived on the scene a woman was outside the home on Brier Ridge Court with serious wounds from a gunshot. She was transported to the hospital in serious condition. After entering the home investigators found the bodies of a woman and a man.
Investigation is ongoing and a reason for the shootings has not been been released by authorities. It is believed the shooting is a result of a domestic dispute.
