HARVEST-Shortly after 6 pm on Thursday tonight, Madison County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting incident in the 100 block of Silver Poplar Place in the Harvest community. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a male subject suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Huntsville Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting was a result of domestic violence. A male individual at the scene was taken into custody for questioning.
There is no threat to the public at this time, and the situation has been deemed secure.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as more information becomes available.
