Shooting At Muscle Shoals Nightclub Leaves One injured

MUSCLE SHOALS-The Muscle Shoals Police Department report a New Year’s Day shooting at a nightclub on Airport road somewhere around 2AM on Wednesday, January 1.

Muscle Shoals Police Chief Clint Reck confirmed that the shooting happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday near the Infusions Night Club at the intersection of Airport Road and Second Street.

During the shooting authorities  say a 24-year-old man was shot in the leg in the parking lot of the nightclub.  It was reported the injuries to the shooting victim were non-life-threatening.

Police reports indicate the man was taken to hospital for treatment and has been release.

The shooting remains under investigation by the Muscle Shoals Police Department.
