MUSCLE SHOALS – Folks driving along Woodward in recent weeks have seen a lot of changes to Wendy’s. It was out with the old restaurant and in with the new! Wendy’s has built a beautiful, brand spanking new facility on a much larger chunk of land. And the Shoals Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors were at Monday’s Grand Opening to get things started on a great note.
Here’s what Joe Turner, Chairman and CEO of First Sun Management had to say about the new restaurant:
“Wendy’s core values, including ‘Quality is our Recipe’ and ‘Give Something Back’ was created by our founder, Dave Thomas, more than 40 years ago and still serves as timeless guideposts for our employees and franchisees today.
The restaurant features an innovative interior and exterior design that is very different from what Wendy’s Customers are familiar with, but we think they’ll really like the look and feel of the restaurant.
The exterior of the newly renovated Wendy’s has large windows, allowing more light inside. The interior features different height tables, booths, a fireplace, flat-screen television and cushioned chairs… Much different from the basic seating available in the prior building.”
The building also features WI-FI for customers.
