The Shoals Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently held a Ribbon Cutting ceremony at the Women’s Center.

Ultrasound (Sonography) Services
Ultrasound imaging, also called ultrasound scanning or sonography, involves exposing part of the body to high frequency sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. Because ultrasound images are captured in real time, they can show the structure and movement of the body’s internal organs as well as blood flowing through blood vessels
Digital Mammography
The Selenia™Mammography system uses a direct conversion detector to provide sharper images, which helps with breast cancer detection. Selenia'” uses large plates that can produce whole, full images with less exposure to radiation, which makes the process safer and faster. The FASpM paddle technology accommodates the natural contour of the breast, tilting for more uniform compression and exposure and improved comfort for you. The Shoals Hospital mammography technologists are all ARRT registered and have over 100 years of combined experience. Our facilities are ACR Accredited for Mammography.
