THE SHOALS – The Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors approved a resolution to endorse Quinton Hanson as Chairman of the Lauderdale County Commission in the upcoming election to be held on March 1, 2016.
The Shoals Chamber of Commerce supports Quinton Hanson because of his pro-business agenda and his long-time commitment to lead a legislative program supportive of a strong business environment in the Shoals area.
“I think it is more important than ever that the Chamber is visible in supporting candidates that are pro-business and that we feel understands the businesses that we represent,” said Shoals Chamber Chairman Mitch Hamm.
“Quinton Hanson has worked tirelessly and diligently to promote jobs and business growth in the Shoals,” added Shoals Chamber board member Bud Ward. “He has been a leader in helping to develop roads, infrastructure and future development in the Shoals. His efforts in Montgomery and Washington D.C. have been instrumental in promoting the needs of the Shoals area.”
Quinton Hanson has been a dedicated executive board member for more than ten years with a focus on public policy, advocacy and activism. With his appointment as Commission Chairman, the Shoals Chamber anticipates the creation of new jobs for Lauderdale County.
