Shirley Winstead Prince, age 84, of Phil Campbell, AL, passed away, Thursday, June 18, 2026, at her residence.
Shirley loved her children and grandkids. She loved to play pranks and loved to laugh and loved everyone to laugh also. She was devoted to God. She was a member of Gateway Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Winstead, parents, Joe and Blanche Swims, siblings, Ralph Swims, Geraldine Prince, and Verlon Swims.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Judy Kuykendall (Rodney), Karen Bates (Randy), Annette Sutherland (Alan), Tammy Adams (Dwight) and Mark Winstead (Mandy), a host of grandchildren, host of great-grandchildren, siblings, Darrell Swims and Irene Leek, a host of nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2026, and service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Nick McSpadden. The Burial will be at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be family and friends.
