Shirley Weigh Wylie, 81, of Leighton, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2013. Her visitation will be Monday from noon until 2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Doris Chaney is officiating.
Mrs. Wylie was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon and Jessie Palmer, and her husband, James E. Wylie.
She is survived by her son, Gary A. Wylie (Kayle), of Leighton, Ala.; brothers, Gerald Palmer (Loretta), of Sheffield, Ala., and Mike Palmer (Peggy), of Sevierville, Tenn.; sisters, Mary Crockett, of Florence, Ala., and Martha Smith (Tommy), of Florence, Ala.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Colbert Memorial Chapel, Tuscumbia, is directing.
