The funeral service for Shirley Rose Aaron, age 66 of Lineville, will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 2:00 P. M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Rev. Scott Jordan officiating.
Ms. Aaron passed away October 15, 2018 at Grandview Medical Center. She was a native of East St. Louis, Illinois where she had lived for most of her life but had settled in Clay County in 1990. Ms. Aaron had worked as a security guard, as a manager for the Movie Gallery in Ashland, and in the meat department of the Talladega Piggly Wiggly. She had also worked for Wellborn Cabinets.
Ms. Aaron is survived by two daughters: Dawn Morgan (James) of Piedmont and Tonya Parker (Gerry) of Cedar Bluff; two sons: Bruce Dunnagan (Amanda) of Anniston and Shane Dunnagan (Marsha) of Ashland; her fiancé, Marty Julian of Lineville; four brothers: John Jolly, Don Jolly, both of Ashland, Wayne Shaddix of Illinois and Ricky Shaddix of Lineville; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Hershel Thomas Shaddix and Violet Cooper Shaddix.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville on Thursday October 18, 2018 from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M.
