Shirley Paulette Tedford, 65, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. Paulette loved fishing and cooking, and was well-known for her chocolate pies and chicken and dressing. She enjoyed thrifting, spending time with her family—especially her children and grandchildren—and taking wagon rides. She embraced the simple life, loved with her whole heart, and would give the shirt off her back. Her true passion was people, always talking with and caring for them. Over the years, she worked as a nurse, with her favorite position being at Sanctuary Hospice House.
Paulette is survived by her husband, Neal Tedford; her son, Eddie Ledbetter (Charlotte); her daughter, Amanda Reynolds (Reed); her grandchildren, Alivia Self (Brian), Aaron Ledbetter, Chey Tedford (Rick), Noah Tedford, Kynlee Ledbetter, and Ashtin Reynolds; her great-grandchildren, Haygen Tedford, Hayzlei Tedford, Will Self, and James Wade Self; her sisters, Jenny Hubbard, Brenda McMillen (Rodney), Carolyn Tate (Ed); and her brothers, Skip Roberts (Collen) and Paul Rowe (Linda).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Chambers Roberts, her son, Jamie Neal Tedford, and her sisters, Elsie Raines and Teresa Dye.
Funeral services are set for 2 PM on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with Bro. Greg Herndon officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5 to 8 PM, and again Monday from noon until the service begins. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Tommy Lee Harmon, Rick Linley, Johnny Raines, Michael Riley, Evan McMillen, Scottie Swan, Colby Havens, Cyle Heavens, Shane Rowe, Cody Roberts, and Kameron Boone.
