Shirley Merita “Rita” Blackwell, age 88 of Oakman, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Cordova Health Care.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Oakman Church of God, services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Earnest Chapel Cemetery. Kenneth Wiggins will officiate.
Mrs. Blackwell was preceded in death by her Husband-Theron Blackwell; Parents-James and Pernie Perkins; Son-Travis Blackwell; Grandchildren-Randy and Mandy Fondren; Sister-Kay Taylor.
She is survived by her Daughters-Lisa Fondren (Mike) and Ann Blackwell; Sons-Danny Blackwell (Pattie) and Dennis Blackwell (Carolyn); Brother-John Perkins and Roland Perkins; 6 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren.
