Madison, Alabama. Services will be on Thursday, October 16, 2025, 3:00 PM, at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brent Lawrimore officiating, with burial at Hartselle Memory Gardens and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 PM at the Funeral Home.

Shirley Louise Lawrimore was born on January 24, 1937, in Mount Hope, Alabama. She went to school at Mount Hope and graduated from Falkville High School. Shirley worked at Chemstrand, in Decatur, after graduating. She married and became a homemaker and a small business owner with a rug business in Falkville and later a rug shop and novelty store in downtown Hartselle. Shirley later began her long-term career in retail management, starting at JC Penney and Carlton Cards in Decatur. She was promoted to store manager in the new Madison Square Mall’s Carlton Cards, where she worked until retirement. Shirley was a member of Asbury Church in Madison.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Jean Lawrimore and Sarah Jane Bailey Lawrimore; six brothers, Raymond Lawrimore, Travis Lawrimore, Pete Lawrimore, Ervin Lawrimore, Eldred Lawrimore, and Gene Lawrimore; and one son Timothy Jay Foote.

Survivors include: two daughters, Kim Haines (Bob) and Penny White; three grandsons, Andrew Holman (Savannah), Nick Holman, and Johnny White; and two great granddaughters, Libby and Mae Holman.

She is also survived by two sisters-in-law; Betty Jo Lawrimore and Linda Lawrimore; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Holman, Nick Holman, Johnny White, Brian Lawrimore, Mike Lawrimore and Lane Lawrimore.
