Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Latona Jackson, age 86, will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 in the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in White Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 PM until service time.
Mrs. Jackson, a homemaker, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025 in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Jackson; parents, Henry and Hazel Morgan; sisters, Joan Albarella, Carnell Graham and Damon Hicks; and brothers, Robert Morgan and Bud Morgan.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by three children, Kent (Angie) McWherter, Lisa (Ricky) Moore, and Tony (Louise) McWherter; five grandchildren, Morgan (Jason) Moore, Shea (Joe) Depczynski, Taylor McWherter, Nicholas McWherter, and Mallory McWherter; a great grandchild, Charlee Moore; and eight nieces and nephews.
