Shirley Kay Stafford Jenkins, 78 of Warrior, passed away September 19, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at New Horizon Chapel. Burial will follow in Shanghi Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Johnny E. Jenkins, parents Leander and Susie Stafford, siblings James Stafford, Doris (Frank) Vivier, Joyce (Bill) Todd, Jerry (Ruby) Stafford, Linda (John) Carver and Charles Stafford.
She is survived by her daughter Teresa (Megan) Jenkins, sons David Jenkins, Bobby Jenkins, grandchildren Jonathan Jenkins, Joshua Jenkins, Alyssa (Matthew) Smith, Austin Jenkins, John Micah Jenkins, Brad (Brianna) Ogle, three great grandchildren Jaxson Jenkins, August Rose Jenkins, Aurora Smith, along with sister-in-law Joyce Meek, brother-in-Law Ray (Jimmie Faye) Jenkins, brother-in-law Ricky (Brenda) Jenkins, sister in law Betty Lewis and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Shirley was an amazing mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She never met a stranger.
