Shirley Jean Gladney – Obituary

Shirley Jean Gladney, 80, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in Muscle Shoals at the home of her daughter. A native of Russellville, she was a loving mother and grandmother. She was retired from Walmart and was a member of Grace Life Church, Muscle Shoals.

Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, December 21, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Jeff Noblit officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens, Russellville. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Lewey, Jim Bauer, Adam Hilderbrand, Jason Stockton, Taylor Stockton and Anthony Pace.

Mrs. Gladney is survived by her daughters, Marlaina Steien and husband, Gary and Missy Hilderbrand and husband, Chris; five grandchildren survive her, Laura Stockton and husband, Jason, Leah Holden and husband, Ty, Lindsay Steien, Josh Lewey and wife, Ashton and Adam Hilderbrand; and she is survived by five great-grandchildren, Taylor and Addy Beth Stockton and Rylin, Jax and Ayla Lewey, with one great-grandson on the way. Nieces, nephews, and friends also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Gladney (2007) and her parents, Tommie and Flossie Whitlock Hamilton. Also preceding her were her siblings, Hershel Hamilton, Charles “Buddy” Hamilton and Jackie Badgett.

Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
