Jane Phillips Profile Photo Shirley Janette Cromwell Phillips (Jane Phillips) was born on July 20, 1933 to Earl C. Cromwell and Sally Dee Rich Cromwell. On May 29, 1950 she was married to Lloyd Phillips who preceded her in death on August 25, 2006. She leaves a daughter, Jan Phillips Morton and husband, Jerry Morton, three grandsons, Chad Phillip Cagle, Corey Steven Cagle and wife, Laurie, Jon Morton and wife, Melissa, and two granddaughters, Jennifer Morton Harrison and husband, Todd Harrison and Sarah Morton. She leaves a great granddaughter, Claire Cagle along with Michael, Jacob and Anna Harrison, Tyler Morton and Melea, and Emily Morton. She leaves three great, great grandchildren, Jadea, Bobby and Tanner.

She was a housewife and worked at North Elementary for a short time. She and her husband loved spending time with her family and friends and especially square dancing together. She also enjoyed line dancing. Jane was predeceased, other than her husband, by a daughter, Kimberly Gay Phillips on April 27, 1973 and by a sister, Barbara Cromwell Armstrong and husband, Sammy Armstrong, her parents, Earl and Sally Cromwell, grandparents, Charlie and Daisy Spencer Cromwell and Poney C. and Oma Mae Neill Rich.

Just before she took her last breath she smiled and closed her eyes and made her entrance to her heavenly home in style on August 20, 2025. We will miss her so much and have been blessed by having her for 92 years.
