Shirley Gautney House age 81 of Montgomery passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016. Visitation will be Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Elkins East Chapel fromNoon until 2:00pm. Services will follow in the chapel at 2:00pm with Stan Dean officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Robert Curtis House Jr.
Shirley is survived by two children, daughter Carole Jones and husband Tracy of Montgomery, and son Robert Joel House and wife Helen of Sugar Land, TX; one sister, Virginia Ezell of Killen; two grandchildren, Marlena House Beith and Clayton Ralph Jones and wife Lindsey; one great grandson Hayden Beith and one great granddaughter Leighton Jones due in July.
Mrs. House was a lifelong member of Killen Church of Christ.
The family would like to express a very special thanks to the wonderful nurses of Wesely Gardens, sitters form Heavenly Hearts and Hospice of Montgomery who spent tireless hours caring for their mom in the most loving and caring ways possible.
Pallbearers will be Gary Scroggins, Jerry Mitchell, Jeff Wright, Jack Stutts, Dale Entrekin and Mike Vinson.
