Shirley Fay Roden, age 85, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away April 16, 2024. She attended the Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Matthew Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in Littleville Cemetery.
Ms. Roden is survived by her son, Terry Joe (Mikelann) Roden; brothers, Arnold Lee Ridgeway and Anthony Glenn Ridgeway; sisters Nita Vaughn Ridgeway Nicholson and Tina Ridgeway Luedeke; special dear friend, Ruby; 8 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and 30 nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents John David Ridgeway and Ida Virginia Adams Ridgeway; stepmother Helen Ridgeway Gaston; special friend, Bob Crosslin; sons, Joe Henry Roden, Jeffery Ladon Roden and an infant son; brothers, Delbert Harold Ridgeway, James Roland Ridgeway; and sisters, Mary “Sister” Ridgeway Thompson, Willa Mae Ridgeway Parks and Peggy Virginia Ridgeway Romine.
