Funeral for Shirley Elaine Kirby Winton, 49, of Decatur will be Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shane Lewis officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Winton died Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born January 17, 1965, in Indiana to Andrew William Kirby and Kathryn Ann Krumrei. She was a loving wife to Don, loving mother to Tessa, and soon to be grandmother to Andrew James. Her hobbies were music, texting pictures and family. She was preceded in death by her father; two half brothers, Steven William Kirby and Stanley Wayne Kirby; one half sister, Linda Long; and her grandparents, William Krumrei and Vernie Krumrei of Paw Paw, Mich., and Jethro Kirby and Deannie Kirby of Lawrence County.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Don Winton; one daughter, Tessa Marie Kirby; her mother, Kathryn Ann Krumrei; four brothers, Kenneth Andrew Kirby, Tony Lugo Kirby, Jeffery Allen Kirby, Andrew William Kirby, all of Decatur, Mich.; three sisters, Firehawk “Ginger” Annette Kirby Warren of Cullman, Andrea Kaye Mackellar of Decatur, Mich., Kathy Jo King of Somerville; and one half sister, Diane Kirby of Hammond, Ind.

Pallbearers will be Andrew William Kirby, Kenneth Andrew Kirby, Jeffery Allen Kirby, Keith Bradley Lyell, David Edward Kirby and Josh Joyce.

Honorary pallbearers will be Darryl King and Matthew Williams Jones.
