Shirley E. Winter, age 84, of Jasper, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. Rev. William Martin will officiate.
Mrs. Winter was preceded in death by her Father-John “Dee” Murray; Mother-Jessie Brewer Murray; Sister-Essie Oliver; Brothers-John Hodges, Clifton “Runt” Hodges, Clyde “Kink” Hodges, J.D. Murray and Terry Murray; 2 Brothers-in-law; 3 Sisters-in-law; Nieces and Nephews.
She is survived by her Daughters-Lana Sherer (Kenny) and Marilyn Oglesby; Sisters-Barbara Aldridge and Johnnie Ruth Parrish (Charles); Brother-Jerry Murray (Sandra); Grandchildren-Brandy Gillott and Jessica Yates (Rusty); Great Grandchildren-Reece Yates, Sara Gillott, Pacey Gillot and Chante’ Churchill (Adam); Great-Great Grandchildren-Addysen, Sawyer and Remmi Churchill; Host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Gillott, Pacey Gillott, Mike Crawford, Jeremy Jackson, Austin McLemore and Butch McLemore.
