Mrs. Shirley Dodd West Riley was born May 7, 1937 in Collinwood, TN, the daughter of the late Alex and Bertha Haddock Dodd. Mrs. Riley had owned and operated the Shoe Hut in Waynesboro and was a member of the Waynesboro Church of God.
Mrs. Riley departed this life on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Smyrna, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 10 Months, 20 Days.
She is survived by son, Randy West, wife, Linda of Middlefield, OH; daughter, Tabitha Daniel, husband, Steve of Smyrna, TN; five grandchildren, Chandler Francis, wife, Karli, Dakota Daniel, wife Emily, Kincaid Francis, wife, Hannah, Skyler and Destiny Daniel; great-grandsons Carter and Luke Francis and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. West Riley was preceded in death by husband, James Riley; daughter, Glenda Francis; son, Anthony West; sisters, Era Jean Holthouse, Ruby Dean Jenkins and Louise Teeftaller and brothers, S. W. and Daniel Dodd.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Tommy Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home in Collinwood
Pallbearers will be Chandler Francis, Kincaid Francis, Dakota Daniel, Skyler Daniel, Steve Daniel and Michael Francis .
