Shirley Chaney, a longtime resident of Huntsville and Gulf Shores, died Wednesday, December 2nd. She was 86.
Born in 1933 in Huntsville, Shirley graduated from Huntsville High School and married Cecil Chaney, her high school sweetheart. She was a hairdresser at Panache in Huntsville for over 40 years. Shirley was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Jessica Long; her sons, Cecil Chaney, Jr. (Kim) and Robert Chaney (Ann); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 5th, at Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
