Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Campbell, age 79, are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, April 28. 2019 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Corwell’s Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Campbell passed away late Thursday in Jackson. She was born August 19, 1939 in Henderson County to the late Arlie and Ida Brantley McEarl. She retired after 35 years of teaching at Southaven Elementary School. She was a member of Middlefork Baptist Church, loved her nieces, nephews, her cats, reading, and crossword puzzles. Mrs. Campbell was a very giving person. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. J. V. Campbell and six brothers, Truman, Wilton, Raymond, Frank, Harlan, and Johnny McEarl. Survivors include her three sisters, Linda Massengill (Max), Wanda McClain, and Brenda McAdams (Warren); and a host of nieces and nephews.
