Shirley Ann Parker, age 89 of Carbon Hill, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength and the love she shared with others throughout her life.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Carbon Hill Memorial Gardens.
Shirley was preceded in death by her Parents-Earl Welsh, Sr. and Grace Welsh; Husband-William “Pete” Parker; Brothers-James “Toots” Welsh and Earl Welsh, Jr.; Sister-Normajean Welsh; her Son-Gerald Braseman; Baby Wilson; Great Granddaughter-Mattie-Grace Wilson; Special friend-Mary Lou Swallop.
She is survived by her Sons-Billy Parker and Ronnie Parker (Lacy); Granddaughters Ronna Wilson (Matthew) and Erica Lucas (Colin); Grandson-Jeremy Braseman; Great Granddaughters-Olivia Wilson, Emily and Audrey Lucas, Alexia and Oaklee; Great Grandson-JJ; Sister-Shelia Thomas(Al); Brothers-Ronnie Welsh (Brenda) and Delmar Welsh; Sisters-in-law-Bev Welsh, Bev Parker and Sylvia Welsh; Special friend-Rosie Pair; a host of many more friends & family
