McClendon, Shirley Williams age 87 of Coden, AL. formerly of Birmingham and Cullman; died Saturday, April 20, 2024.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne McClendon; parents: Seth Owen Williams and Louise Looney Williams; and her great grandson, Jeremy Brock Fisher.
Shirley is survived by: Daughter – Lisa McClendon Clay (Joseph); Son – Gregory Neal McClendon (Janet), Grandchildren: Ryne Scott McClendon (Aubri); Hayley Clay Clements (Hunter); Daniel Simms Newell (Sarina); Taylor Clay Karimnia (Alex); Davis Coupland Newell Great-grandchildren: Presley Grace McClendon; Levi William Smith; Liam Knox Smith; Colton Wayne McClendon and a host of other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 12:00 noon until the celebration of Mrs. McClendon’s life that will begin at 2:00 PM at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Cullman City Cemetery.
