Shirley Ann Heard of Ardmore, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening. She was 71.
Shirley was an avid antique collector and had a unique eye for antique pieces she was passionate about. She was a Christian and a member of Heaven’s Way Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Joy Ann Heard.
Surviving family members include her husband of 46 years, Donald Heard; her daughters, Tiffany Ragland , Christy Duncan, and Donna Eckert; her granddaughters: Katie Cobb, Michaela Duncan, Megan Shelton, Abby Ragland, and Brittney Ragland. her grandson, Ramsey Heard; four great-granddaughters, Sophie, Harper, Meredith, and Stella. five great-grandsons, Carter, Avery, Colton, Nipsey, and Jonathan.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2pm at Heaven’s Way Baptist Church with Brother Jeffery Heard and Brother Gary Heard officiating.
