Sheryl Marlene Allen, 76, of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, December 31st, 2025, at her residence. Mrs. Allen was born on September 4th, 1949, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to Paul and Shirley (Wills) Zimmerman.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Bonard Allen; son, John P. Allen; daughter, Lorianne S. Appia; brother, Paul K. Zimmerman; daughter-in-law, Thinh T. Allen, son-in-law, Vikram Appia; several nieces and nephews; and several grand nieces and grand nephews.
A funeral service for Mrs. Allen will be Sunday, January 4th, 2026, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, at 1:00 p.m., with Rick Cantrell officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bottoms Cemetery.
