Arrangements for Sherry Lynn Vickery, age 50, of Decatur, who died Monday, April 20, 2020, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, will be announced by Shelton Funeral Home.
Miss Vickery was born March 13, 1970, in Ansbach, Germany to Elmer Robert Vickery and Ursula Karin Christ Vickery. She was preceded in death by her mother.
She is survived by her father, Elmer Robert Vickery of Harvard, IL; one brother, Robert Allen Vickery (Kimberly) of Falkville; two sisters, Petra Mason (Jim) and Jutta Martina Compton (Robert “Bill”), both of Decatur; nephews/nieces, Brittany Compton-Tidwell (Stephen), Joshua Roper, Jennifer Hitt, Justin Compton, Megan Young, Dylan Ray Compton, Robert Fricks, and Rose Vickery; and great-nephews/-nieces, Kenzley Tidwell, Kristopher Tidwell, Kenadie Tidwell, Karsen Tidwell, Tyler Compton, Brandon Compton, Maddie Compton, and Makenna Compton.
