Sherry Diane Woods, 69, of Toney, Alabama passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Diversicare Big Springs in Huntsville, Alabama.
She was born on Saturday, October 22, 1955, in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Mr. Samuel Pleas Bowling and Mrs. Minnie Ruth Hobbs Bowling.
Sherry was of the Christian Faith. She loved her family, especially spoiling her grandchildren. She also loved to go fishing with her husband and grandson.
Mrs. Woods was proceeded in death by her husband Mr. Wesley Woods, her father, as well as one son, Wayne Wood.
She is survived by one daughter, Beth (Norman) Fowler of Taft, TN., three sisters; Debbie Colbert of Hazel Green, AL., Sue Eaton of Toney, AL. and Sandy Bishop of Gulf Shoals, AL., four Grandchildren; Kelsey (Jacob) Bussey, David Fowler (Madison MacDonald), Deanna Woods, John Wayne Woods, three Great-Grandchildren; Nash Fowler, Sadie Fowler and Magnolia Bussey, her mother, Minnie Ruth Bowling, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A Funeral Service will be following visitation on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, AL, beginning at 11:00 AM. Bro. Duran Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow in Madison X-Roads in Madison, Alabama
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
