Funeral services for Mrs. Sherry Crum Thompson, age 80, will be held at 11 am Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Salem Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 pm until 8 pm Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the Shelton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Thompson went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at JMCGH, surrounded by her loving family. Sherry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Sherry was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Trenton, TN. She worked alongside her husband, Eddie, in the Family Shoe Store for 23 years. After that, she began her career at TLC Daycare, where she loved all of her “babies”. Her greatest joys in life were her husband, Eddie, as well as their children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter.
Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Thompson, her mother, Frankie Lou Crum, and her father, Tom Crum. She is survived by her brother, Jeff Crum of Nashville, TN; her children: Dawn Anglin of Trenton, TN, Richard Thompson and wife Shannon of Daphne, AL, and Brad Thompson of Trenton, TN; her five grandchildren: Carley (Jordan) David of Jackson, TN, Chloe Thompson (Justin Morris) of Trenton, TN, Macy Anglin (Aidan Ray) of Trenton, TN, Tanner Thompson of Daphne, AL, and Colson Anglin of Trenton, TN, and one great-grandchild, Ivy Jane David of Jackson, TN. She also cherished loving memories of his nieces and nephews.
