Ms. Sherry Ann Crowe Smith, age 64, of Arab, Alabama, passed away peacefully at Huntsville Hospital on Wednesday morning, February 25, 2026. Born in Jefferson County, AL, on May 13, 1961, Sherry was the daughter of Jack Vinson Crowe and Bonnie Ruth Little Crowe.
Sherry was a devoted student of the Bible, drawing inspiration and guidance from her faith. As a committed member of the Cullman Church of Christ, she found deep fulfillment in her spiritual life. Sherry cherished her family dearly, finding happiness and comfort in their presence. Her passion for music was evident to all who knew her, and she delighted in sharing her love of music and participation in lively board games with those loved ones.
Sherry voluntarily served as Troop Leader of Girl Scout Troup 168 for many years where she was known and loved for her dedication, support and commitment. She also voluntarily served as PTO President for Chelsea Elementary School, working to enhance the entire school community. Sherry will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone who had the honor of knowing her.
Sherry is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Mike McEuen; grandchildren, Jaxon McEuen and Layla McEuen; brother, Paul Vinson Crowe (Vicki); sister Donna Hammett (James); and sister-in-law, Ann Crowe Moody (Jerry).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Bonnie Crowe and her brother, Jack Douglas Crowe.
Services for Sherry will be Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends and guests for visitation beginning at 10:00am until the funeral service commences at 12:00 noon. Brother Jeremy Crowe will officiate. Burial will take place in Gibbs Chapel Cemetery in Blount County, AL. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisting the family with arrangements.
