Sherrie Cummings, age 61, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her residence.
Sherrie was a wonderful wife, a loving mother and grandmother to 8 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert & Ruth Montgomery; brother, Bobby Montgomery; and father in law, Jerry Cummings.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Donnie Cummings; children, Donnie Cummings Jr. (wife, Jamie), Cristy Allen (husband, Chris), Brian Cummings (wife, Ashley); grandchildren, Bradley Cummings, Madison Cummings, Dakota Cummings, Carter Allen, Parker Allen, Analena Cummings, Cameron Allen, Paxton Allen; sisters, Geraldine Mansell and Dot Venson; best friends, Darlene & Gary Duncan; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Gateway Church in Russellville, with the body lying in state one hour prior to the service. The burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Nick McSpadden and Sister Pearl Shelton.
The family wanted to give a special thanks to the nurses at Kindred Hospice, Erica Barnes Adams and Russellville Hospital, the Police Dept., and Dr. John Almirol.
