Sherman D. Tidmore, age 74, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024. He was born on July 11, 1949, to the late Flint and Ira Mae Tidmore. Sherman was a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose presence brought warmth and love to all who knew him.He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Patricia Ashley Tidmore; his children, Donna (Jeff) Walker and Doug (LeAnn) Tidmore; grandchildren, Keenan (Savannah) Walker, Bailee (Tanner) Mayo, and Britney (Trevor) Bynum; and great-grandchildren, Rocklyn and Eli Walker. Sherman’s legacy of love and family will live on through the generations he leaves behind.
In addition to his parents, Sherman is preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Tidmore, and sister, Tina Brown.
A funeral service to honor Sherman’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Stephens, officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 pm. Pallbearers will assist Sherman to his final resting place at Berry-Brookshire Cemetery in the Red Hill Community will include; Jeff Walker, Keenan Walker, Robert Adams, Doug Tidmore and Trevor Bynum.
Sherman will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will continue to bring comfort and joy to those who were fortunate enough to share in his life. May he rest in peace.
