Sherlene Cothrum Lee, age 75, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Burns Nursing Home.
Sherlene loved her family, Alabama football, and let’s not forget the gallons of black coffee she’s had over the years. She loved to learn and read and was a fighter up until the very end. She could still make her family laugh with her quick wit and sassiness. The family finds peace in knowing Sherlene is not in pain, scared, or confused anymore.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Brandi Boyd (Cade); grandchildren, Karlie Moore, Kara Moore, Wylie Boyd, Ashton Boyd; sisters, Elene Whitehead (Danny), Carolyn Trapp (Kenneth); and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Gladys (Jones) Cothrum, and brothers, Roy Cothrum, Ralph Cothrum.
The visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.
