Shelton Edward Marty, 89, of Meridianville, Alabama passed away May 29, 2016. Mr. Marty founded Marty Electic in 1957, also known as Meridianville Electric. Marty was a U.S. Navy Vetran, he also served on the board for Madison Academy from 1971-1975. Was memeber of North Memorial Parkway Church of Christ for many years, now attends Shiloh Church of Christ. Survivors include Son; Greg (Chris) Marty, granddaughter; Harley Marty, sister; Doris Simms, nieces; Robbie Nunley, Cathy Spivey, several other nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents Warren and Emma Lou Marty, wife; Lillian C. Marty, son; Douglas F. Marty brothers, James Marty, Bob Marty, sisters; Onella Wells, Gaynell Holcombe. Visitation will be on Thursday 5-8 at Berryhill Funeal Home. Service will be on Friday at 4:00 at Berryhill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer”s foundation.
