Funeral services for Shellie Renea Blackwood, 45 of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2016 at Northbrook Baptist Church, Rev. Gary Nunn and Dr. Steve Britt officiating with interment in Good Hope Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1-2.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Blackwood passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at UAB Hospital. She was born May 20, 1970 to parents, Lewis D. and Janice Eason Tucker. She was a Registered Nurse at UAB Medical Center and a member of Northbrook Baptist Church. She enjoyed vacationing in the mountains and at the beach and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her father; grandparents, James and Sharlene Eason, Ed and Addice Tucker.
Survivors include her mother; husband, Ronnie Blackwood; son, Toby Blackwood; daughters, Leslie Simmons and Hannah Beth Simmons; sisters, Jana (Chris) McAfee and Rita (Jason) Rodgers; niece and nephew, Alison and Tucker McAfee.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-9 at the funeral home.
