Shelia Posey passed away peacefully at her home, December 4, 2019. She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Posey and her parents Charlie and Beatrice Isbell. Shelia is survived by her husband of 42 years, Carl Posey, Jr.; daughter Sissy (Tom) Miller; son, Shane Posey; grandchildren, Sassy (Blake) Posey; Shannon Posey, Katie Kitchens and Tegan Singh; great-grandchildren, Austin Posey, Tristan Posey, Isabella Posey, Tyler Kitchens, Alley Kitchens, Maylee Smith and Braylen Day; sister, Patsy Van Middlesworth as well as a special group of friends and her church family. Shelia was a loving wife and Mother. Family meant everything to her. She always put the needs of others before her own needs. She was a member of Twilleytown Church of God of Prophecy. Shelia enjoyed riding motorcycles and listening to Christmas music. She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday, December 6, 2019 at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home in Dora. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Bryan Church in Dora.
