Shelia Kay Fetner, 62, of Decatur, Alabama passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Kenneth Rogers officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery.
Born on December 30, 1961, to Clifton and Ivadean Borden Henson, Shelia was employed at General Electric for 34 years. Shelia was a loving wife and friend who will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Darold Fetner; step-daughter, Senae Smith; step-grandchildren, Matthew Smith and Rian Smith; one brother, Lelon Henson (Dorothy); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Shelia was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Ivadean Henson.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Decatur Morgan Hospital and Clearview Cancer Institute.
