Funeral service for Shelby Jean Ward Self, 76, will be Friday, January 5, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Gum Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Anthony Patterson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Gum Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Self died on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born February 11, 1941, in Morgan County to William Leldon Ward and Nannie Odalene Montgomery. She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmy Wayne Self,
