A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Shelby Jean Tolbert Stewart, 65, will be Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Andrews Chapel with Bro. John White and Bro. Ben Stanley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stewart died on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born February 4, 1956, in Lawrence County to Elmo Tolbert and Louise Jones Tolbert. She was a devoted Christian lady and has attended Decatur Christian Fellowship for 31 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and foster parent for several children in this area. She was a production worker for Monsanto and Freuhauf, prior to her passing and was a homemaker for her family.
Preceding her in death were her husband: Winston Jerry Stewart, her parents, brothers: Billy Ray, Ronnie, Jeffrey, Danny and Stevie.
