Shelby Dean Bowen, age 83 of Nashville passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Skyline Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier with Rev. Randy Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Cemetery in Adams, TN with James Bowen, Tony Waters, James Mantlo, Andrew Mantlo, Larry McKay and Michael McKay serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 4pm to 8pm on Friday, April 9, 2021 and 9am until hour of service on Saturday, April 10th at the funeral Home.
She was born July 20, 1937 in Lebanon, TN to the late Hubert V. and Margaret L. Warren Jackson. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Sanchez and son Danny Ray Bowen.
She was a homemaker and loved and enjoyed her family very much.
She is survived by son, James Carol Bowen of Nashville, TN; daughter, Shirley Dean Sullivan of Nashville, TN; brother, Wayne Jackson of Hartsville, TN; sisters, Barbara L.
