Funeral service for Shelby Crow Smith, 72, of Moulton will be Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at 4 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Alan Queen officiating. Burial will be in Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Smith, who died Sunday, July 6, 2014, at her residence, was born October 4, 1941, in Lawrence County to Melvin and Mildred Crow. She was retired from NASA. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith was a devoted wife and mother who loved life and everyone in hers. She had rather be in the kitchen or caring for her animals as anywhere else. She was dedicated to her church family at Bellview Baptist Church. She just celebrated 53 years of marriage to her devoted husband, Bill Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Maxine Vest.

Survivors include her husband, Bill G. Smith; one son, Monte G. Smith; one granddaughter, Lexie Amber Smith; two brothers, Gary Crow of Moulton and Clyde Crow (Julia) of Florence; and one sister, Patricia Blackwood (Anthony) of Moulton.

Pallbearers will be Mark Clark, Bobby White, Scotty Jackson, Eddie Willingham, Jimmy Moore, Clyde Crow and Gary Crow.
