Shelba Wills Siniard, 80, of Huntsville died Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Siniard was born and raised in Gadsden and graduated from Gadsden High School in 1955. She attended Jacksonville State University. On December 27, 1957, she married the love of her life, Jerry Siniard, and they were happily married for 35 years. Fittingly, Mrs. Siniard died on the 25th anniversary of his death (12/16/92). She was a wonderful mother to her three children and loving grandmother to her seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Siniard was a faithful member of Weatherly Heights Baptist Church where she taught 3rd grade Sunday school as one of the first female deacons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Aleen Wills and by her husband, Jerry Leonidas Siniard. She is survived by daughter, Lisa Siniard Donnell (Skip) of Birmingham, son, Stephan Bradley Siniard (Ginna) of Huntsville, son Stuart Leon Siniard (Pam) of Madison; seven grandchildren, Sam Donnell, Joshua Donnell, Margaret Donnell, Libby Siniard, Ann Bradley Siniard, Kaitlyn Siniard, and Chloe Sinard; brother, Ronald E. Wills (Jean) and sister, Elizabeth Wills Battles.
A visitation will be held at Weatherly Heights Baptist Church on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am.
