Sheila Gaskin Rowell, 59, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born October 3, 1957 to James “Pete” and Roberta Medders Gaskin in Douglas, Georgia. Sheila worked at Sharp Garment in Aberdeen and Pickle Barrel in Amory. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed fishing for crappie and catfish, and mowing her grass.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Whitten (Troy) of Calhoun City; two sons, James Kevin Gaskin (Melissa) of Amory and Thomas Lee Rowell of Aberdeen; one sister, Tressa Howell (Seth) of Houston, Texas; one brother, James Franklin Gaskin (Judy) of Amory; and four grandchildren, Megan Gaskin, Christopher Gaskin, Hanna Willis and Dakota Willis.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ronnie Gaskin.
