SHEFFIELD – We were driving by Park Place on Montgomery Avenue the other day and spotted some craftsmen on a bucket lift applying some TLC (Tender Loving Care). So we stopped in to take a closer look. Park Place is getting a new facelift with help from the folks over at ICS Roofing and Construction.
J. Michael Campbell, is ramrodding the job, as he does on all kinds of big projects for ICS. Park Place, his latest… is a project of the Sheffield Housing Authority. It is an upscale facility of corporate apartments, retirement apartments, and boutique shops. And this facelift is the latest amenity helmed by Shirley Whitten, the Executive Director.
The work’s not finished quite yet. Michael told the Quad-Cities Daily that some decorative pieces are on their way that will really add some sparkle to the buildings.
