Notice for Shauna Prestage SansingShauna Lee Prestage Sansing, 70, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was born November 8, 1954, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Hollis Wiygul Prestage and Rubye West Prestage Love. She worked as a speech therapist for several different public school systems. In her early years, Shauna was involved with the Girl Scouts as a leader and counselor at summer camps. She was a member of the Madison Global Methodist Church where she and her husband hosted Bible study groups for many years. She enjoyed shopping, attending craft fairs, and playing Bunco and socializing with her friends. Her family was most important to her, and she enjoyed planning reunions for extended family members.

 

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery.

 

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Billy Sansing, and her son Todd Sansing, both of Madison; two brothers, Nat Prestage (Cindy) of Oxford and Bill Love (Lisa) of Fulton; one niece, Paige Blackburn (Scott), and her children Charlie and Margaret; and two nephews, Trey Love and Hunter Love.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollie Prestage, Rubye Prestage Love, and John W. “Jay” Love.

 

Pallbearers will be Trey Love, Hunter Love, Keith Spencer, Wes Riley, Mark Willcutt, Marx Prestage, and Danny Hester.

 

Visitation will be from noon until service time Tuesday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
